Know before you ride.
To ensure a smooth rental experience, please review our core policies below. These sit alongside the full written rental agreement you sign at collection.
📋 Driver Requirements
- Age: All riders must be at least 21 years old.
- Responsibility: The rider is 100% responsible for ensuring they are legally licensed; we are not liable for police fines or insurance denials due to improper paperwork. Under Thai road law you must hold a valid motorcycle licence from your home country plus an International Driving Permit (IDP). ASEAN members require only a domestic licence.
🛡️ Insurance & Medical Important
- Limited coverage: Our rentals include only the mandatory government "Por Ror Bor" insurance, capped at 30,000 THB for medical expenses only.
- Out of pocket: Renters are responsible for 100% of medical bills once the small government cap is reached.
- Travel insurance: Most travel insurance policies are void if you don't hold an IDP with a motorcycle endorsement, and some insurers won't cover motorcycle accidents at all. Please check your policy before riding — we strongly recommend proper cover.
🛵 Rental Rules
- Usage: No off-road driving, racing, or riding under the influence. The bike is for use within the Bangkok metropolitan area unless otherwise agreed.
- Safety: Helmets must be worn at all times (we provide two per bike).
- Security: All bikes are fitted with active GPS tracking.
- Parking: Do not park on red/white or yellow/white curbs. Renters are responsible for all traffic/towing fines and a 500 THB/day "loss of use" fee if the bike is impounded.
💰 Potential Additional Fees
- Damage: Renters are 100% responsible for all damage regardless of fault. Our damage schedule ranges from 1,500 THB for light impact to 50,000 THB for total loss.
- Smart keys: Replacing a lost smart key / remote costs 4,000 THB.
- Battery: A 650 THB service fee applies if we must restart the bike due to ignition negligence (leaving the bike "ON").
- Fuel: Please return with a full tank (95 octane) or a 300 THB refuelling fee applies.
Ready to book?
Pick your bike and dates online and pay a deposit to secure it. Bring your passport, home driving licence and IDP to collection — we'll photograph them at the shop and you'll sign the rental agreement before you ride.
