Know before you ride.
Everything that governs your rental, in plain language. Read this and there should be no surprises at the counter. It sits alongside the written rental agreement you sign at collection.
📋 What we need from you
- Age 21 or over. No exceptions.
- Your passport. We photograph it at the shop. We never keep it — a passport deposit is not an option here.
- A motorcycle licence from your home country, plus an International Driving Permit. Riders from ASEAN countries need only their domestic licence. Thai law requires this, not us: without it you face police fines and your travel insurance is likely void. Getting the paperwork right is your responsibility.
- Only the named rider may ride. The agreement names one person. Nobody else may take the bike out.
We keep copies of your passport and licence for the rental period only, then delete them.
💳 Deposit & payment
- Booking online: you pay 20% now to reserve the bike. The balance is due at collection.
- Security deposit: ฿3,000, refundable. Taken at collection by cash or Thai QR / PromptPay. We don't take cards for the deposit.
- You get it back in full when the bike returns in the same condition, after inspection.
- What it can cover: damage, late return, traffic fines or impound fees, fuel shortfall, tyre replacement, lost keys, cleaning, or excess distance.
- If costs run past the deposit, the balance is still owed.
- No refunds for early returns or for cancellations for personal reasons. Please choose your dates carefully.
🗺️ Where you can ride
This is set per bike, so check the model before you book.
- May leave Bangkok: Honda ADV 160, GPX DZ3 300, Yamaha Nmax 155. Pattaya, Hua Hin and similar trips are fine on these. Tell us before you set off.
- Bangkok only: Honda Lead 125cc, Yamaha Grand Filano 125, Honda Click 160 ABS, GPX Tuscany 150cc, Yamaha Fazzio 125. These are city bikes and must stay within the Bangkok metropolitan area. Planning a longer trip? Ask us first and we'll put you on a suitable bike.
- Recovery outside Bangkok is at your expense. If the bike can't be ridden away — breakdown, accident, damage or theft — getting it back to our shop, or paying for it to be brought back, is your responsibility. We do not fund long-distance recovery.
- Surfaced public roads only. No off-road, no racing, no riding under the influence.
- No commercial use. No food or parcel delivery, ride-hailing, taxi or courier work. Doing so ends the rental immediately and forfeits the deposit.
📏 Distance included
Every rental includes 75 or 150 km per day depending on the bike. The figure for the model you choose is shown on its own page and written into your agreement. The allowance is pooled across your whole rental, to use however you like.
- Pooled, not daily. A five-day rental at 150 km/day gives you 750 km to spend across the five days — a long day out doesn't cost you anything as long as the total holds.
- It is an allowance, not a limit. You are never stopped from riding, and the bike is never cut off.
- Beyond the total: ฿2 per kilometre, worked out from the odometer readings taken at collection and at return. Both are written on your agreement, and anything owed is settled when you bring the bike back.
🛡️ Insurance Read this one
All our bikes carry Por Ror Bor, Thailand's compulsory motor insurance. It covers bodily injury only — not damage to the bike, and not damage to other vehicles.
- Up to ฿30,000 in medical costs can be claimed immediately by anyone injured, with no fault needed.
- Up to ฿80,000 if you are found not at fault.
- Up to ฿500,000 for death or permanent disability.
- If you are at fault, you are limited to the initial ฿30,000.
We strongly recommend your own travel or medical insurance on top. Check it before you ride: many policies are void without an International Driving Permit carrying a motorcycle endorsement, and some exclude motorcycles altogether.
🔧 Who pays for what
Routine upkeep is ours. Fuel and anything caused during your rental is yours.
We pay
- Scheduled servicing and oil changes
- Brake, chain and belt wear
- Normal battery life
- Fair wear and tear — faded paint, light scuffs, tyre tread wearing down over a long rental
- Road tax and Por Ror Bor insurance
You pay
- Fuel
- Punctures and tyre damage, whatever the cause
- Accident and impact damage, whoever is at fault
- Traffic fines, towing and impound fees
- Lost keys, flat battery from leaving the ignition on, returning the bike too dirty to inspect
Nothing on a rental bike needs servicing by you. If a service falls due mid-rental we arrange it and work around your plans.
🚨 Breakdown, accident or theft
In every case, the first step is the same: call us.
- Breakdown. Phone or message us straight away. We'll work out what's wrong with you and arrange the repair. Don't take the bike to another mechanic or attempt a repair yourself without our go-ahead — unauthorised work isn't reimbursed. Our team is reachable throughout your rental.
- Accident. Stop somewhere safe and look after yourself first. Call us. If another vehicle or person is involved, don't move the bike. Photograph the scene, the bike and anything else involved, and take the other party's details.
- Police report. Required for any accident involving injury, a third party or damage. We need the reference number for any claim.
- Theft. Call us immediately and report it to the local police within 24 hours. We need a copy of the report. Without one inside 24 hours, insurance is void and the full replacement cost falls to you.
Damage — what you're responsible for
You are responsible for damage to the bike regardless of fault. That includes damage caused by someone else: you settle with us first and recover it from the third party yourself. Fair wear and tear is never charged.

These figures cover the repair, the time taken to arrange it, and the rental income lost while the bike is off the road.

🛵 On the day
- Two helmets come with every bike. Wear one at all times — riding without voids your insurance and earns a police fine.
- Collection and return at our shop.
- Full tank of 95 octane out, full tank back.
- Every bike carries an active GPS tracker, for security.
- Don't park on red-and-white or yellow-and-white kerbs. That is how bikes get towed.
- Pillion passengers are fine on bikes with a rear seat and footpegs. They must wear a helmet too.
- Need longer? Tell us before your return time and we'll extend it.
