- No ferries or boats. The bike stays on the mainland: no Koh Samet, Koh Chang, Koh Larn or Koh Samui. Islands joined by a road bridge, like Phuket, are fine.
- Recovery outside Bangkok is at your cost. If the bike can't be ridden back after a breakdown, accident, damage or theft, getting it back to the shop is your responsibility.
