Yamaha NMAX 155 rental in Bangkok

Yamaha NMAX 155 for rent at our Bangkok shop

The Yamaha NMAX 155 is a comfortable, roomy scooter for two. It is the one we suggest for couples, daily commuting and longer rides.

The 155 cc liquid-cooled engine with variable valve timing (VVA) pulls smoothly from town speeds to the highway. A 7.1-litre tank means fewer fuel stops.

ABS on both wheels and disc brakes front and rear stop it with confidence, even with a passenger. With the smart key, the key stays in your pocket.

It is one of the bikes you may take outside Bangkok.

Best for

  • ✓Couples and two-up riding
  • ✓Day trips out of Bangkok
  • ✓Daily commuting in comfort
  • ✓Riders who want ABS on both wheels

Choose another bike if…

  • You want more ground clearance for rough roads — Honda ADV 160, from ฿715/day
  • You are riding solo in the city and want to spend less — Honda Click 160 ABS, from ฿500/day
  • You want more power for long highway rides — GPX DZ3 300, from ฿700/day

Yamaha NMAX 155 rental — questions

How much does it cost to rent a Yamaha NMAX 155 in Bangkok?
฿650 a day for two days or more, ฿700 for a single day, ฿3,200 a week and ฿6,360 a month. Prices include VAT. A ฿3,000 refundable hold is taken on collection.
Is the NMAX comfortable for two people?
Yes. It has a long, roomy seat and passenger footrests, and two helmets come with every rental. It is the bike we suggest for couples.
Can I ride the NMAX from Bangkok to Pattaya?
Yes. Pattaya is about 150 km away. Take the ordinary Bang Na–Trat road (Highway 34), not the expressway above it, then Sukhumvit Road (Highway 3). Motorcycles are banned from Motorway 7 and toll expressways. Each rental day includes 150 km, pooled, so a three-day rental covers 450 km.
Yamaha NMAX or Honda ADV 160?
The NMAX sits lower, rides smoothly on good roads and costs less. The ADV 160 is taller and tougher, with more ground clearance for rough roads. Both may leave Bangkok.
Can I rent the NMAX by the month?
Yes. A month is ฿6,360 — far less per day than renting day by day. Pick your dates in the calendar above and book online.
Can I ride the NMAX outside Bangkok?
Yes. Tell us before you set off. 150 km a day is included, pooled across the whole rental; further is ฿2 per km. Motorcycles are not allowed on Thailand's motorways or toll expressways, so plan your route on ordinary highways. If the bike can't be ridden back, recovery from outside Bangkok is at your expense.
Do I need a licence to rent a scooter in Bangkok?
Yes. You need a Thai motorcycle licence, a licence from an ASEAN country, or an International Driving Permit endorsed for motorcycles, carried with your home licence. A car-only permit is not enough. No licence? Ask about our Thai licence service.
Do you keep my passport?
No. We never keep passports. We take a ฿3,000 hold in cash or Thai QR, and it comes back in full when the bike returns in the same condition.
What if the bike already has marks on it?
Take your own photos or a video of any marks before you ride away. We also photograph you with the bike at collection, and that photo goes on your signed agreement.
Is insurance included?
Yes. Every bike carries Por Ror Bor, Thailand’s compulsory motor insurance. It covers injury to people, not damage to the bike or other vehicles, so we recommend your own travel insurance too.
What if it breaks down?
Call or message us — support runs 24/7. If it is a genuine mechanical fault, we sort it out as quickly as we can. Accident damage, tyres and punctures are the rider’s responsibility.
Do I have to wear a helmet?
Yes. Thai law requires a helmet for the rider and the passenger, and police fine riders without one. Two helmets come with every bike.
