Honda Lead 125 rental in Bangkok

Honda Lead 125cc for rent at our Bangkok shop

The Honda Lead 125 is the practical choice. Honda rates its 37-litre under-seat box the largest of any 125 cc automatic in Thailand.

That is room for two helmets, a backpack or the weekly shop, locked away while you park.

The engine is a smooth, liquid-cooled 125. The fuel filler sits at the front, so you refuel without emptying the seat box.

It is a city bike and stays within Bangkok. It suits daily riding: the commute, errands and longer stays by the week or month.

Best for

  • ✓Commuting and everyday errands
  • ✓Carrying shopping, a backpack or a work bag
  • ✓Keeping both helmets locked away when you park
  • ✓Monthly riders who use the bike every day

Honda Lead 125cc rental — questions

How much does it cost to rent a Honda Lead 125cc in Bangkok?
฿386 a day for two days or more, ฿455 for a single day, ฿2,150 a week and ฿5,320 a month. Prices include VAT. A ฿3,000 refundable hold is taken on collection.
How much fits under the Lead’s seat?
37 litres. Honda rates it the largest under-seat box of any 125 cc automatic in Thailand. It takes two helmets, or a backpack and some shopping.
Honda Lead or Yamaha Grand Filano?
Both are easy 125 cc automatics at the same price. Choose the Lead for storage: 37 litres against the Grand Filano’s 27. Choose the Grand Filano for its looks and its hybrid power assist.
Is the Lead good for beginners?
Yes. It is automatic, with a 760 mm seat and combined brakes: the left lever works the front and rear together. Get comfortable somewhere quiet before heading into traffic.
Can I rent the Lead by the month?
Yes. A month is ฿5,320 — far less per day than renting day by day. Pick your dates in the calendar above and book online.
Can I ride the Lead outside Bangkok?
No. The Lead is a city bike and stays within Bangkok. For trips out of town, rent the Honda ADV 160, GPX DZ3 300 or Yamaha NMAX 155.
Do I need a licence to rent a scooter in Bangkok?
Yes. You need a Thai motorcycle licence, a licence from an ASEAN country, or an International Driving Permit endorsed for motorcycles, carried with your home licence. A car-only permit is not enough. No licence? Ask about our Thai licence service.
Do you keep my passport?
No. We never keep passports. We take a ฿3,000 hold in cash or Thai QR, and it comes back in full when the bike returns in the same condition.
What if the bike already has marks on it?
Take your own photos or a video of any marks before you ride away. We also photograph you with the bike at collection, and that photo goes on your signed agreement.
Is insurance included?
Yes. Every bike carries Por Ror Bor, Thailand’s compulsory motor insurance. It covers injury to people, not damage to the bike or other vehicles, so we recommend your own travel insurance too.
What if it breaks down?
Call or message us — support runs 24/7. If it is a genuine mechanical fault, we sort it out as quickly as we can. Accident damage, tyres and punctures are the rider’s responsibility.
Do I have to wear a helmet?
Yes. Thai law requires a helmet for the rider and the passenger, and police fine riders without one. Two helmets come with every bike.
