GPX DZ3 maxi scooter rental in Bangkok

GPX DZ3 300 for rent at our Bangkok shop

The GPX DZ3 is the biggest scooter we rent. Its 278 cc liquid-cooled engine puts it in the 300 class, with far more power than a 150.

ABS on both wheels and disc brakes front and rear bring it to a stop with confidence. Keyless start means the key stays in your pocket.

A 10.3-litre tank gives it the range for trips out of town, and it is one of the bikes you may take outside Bangkok.

At 161 kg it is a big machine, built for experienced riders. GPX is a Thai motorcycle brand, founded in 2007.

Best for

  • ✓Experienced riders who want real power
  • ✓Trips out of Bangkok
  • ✓Two people on longer rides

GPX DZ3 300 rental — questions

How much does it cost to rent a GPX DZ3 300 in Bangkok?
฿700 a day, ฿3,900 a week and ฿7,500 a month. Prices include VAT. A ฿3,000 refundable hold is taken on collection.
Is the DZ3 a 300cc scooter?
It is in the 300 class. The engine is 278 cc and liquid-cooled, with far more pull than the 150–160 cc scooters.
Who makes GPX?
GPX is a Thai motorcycle brand, founded in 2007. Its bikes are designed and built in Thailand.
Is the DZ3 good for beginners?
No. At 161 kg with a 278 cc engine, it is for experienced riders. New riders are better on the Yamaha Fazzio or Honda Lead.
Can I rent the DZ3 by the month?
Yes. A month is ฿7,500 — far less per day than renting day by day. Pick your dates in the calendar above and book online.
Can I ride the DZ3 outside Bangkok?
Yes. Tell us before you set off. 150 km a day is included, pooled across the whole rental; further is ฿2 per km. Motorcycles are not allowed on Thailand's motorways or toll expressways, so plan your route on ordinary highways. If the bike can't be ridden back, recovery from outside Bangkok is at your expense.
Do I need a licence to rent a scooter in Bangkok?
Yes. You need a Thai motorcycle licence, a licence from an ASEAN country, or an International Driving Permit endorsed for motorcycles, carried with your home licence. A car-only permit is not enough. No licence? Ask about our Thai licence service.
Do you keep my passport?
No. We never keep passports. We take a ฿3,000 hold in cash or Thai QR, and it comes back in full when the bike returns in the same condition.
What if the bike already has marks on it?
Take your own photos or a video of any marks before you ride away. We also photograph you with the bike at collection, and that photo goes on your signed agreement.
Is insurance included?
Yes. Every bike carries Por Ror Bor, Thailand’s compulsory motor insurance. It covers injury to people, not damage to the bike or other vehicles, so we recommend your own travel insurance too.
What if it breaks down?
Call or message us — support runs 24/7. If it is a genuine mechanical fault, we sort it out as quickly as we can. Accident damage, tyres and punctures are the rider’s responsibility.
Do I have to wear a helmet?
Yes. Thai law requires a helmet for the rider and the passenger, and police fine riders without one. Two helmets come with every bike.
